Frequently Asked Questions
What areas do you service?
We service Fort Myers, Gateway, Treeline, Pelican Preserve, Estero, and surrounding communities.
What services do you offer?
Weekly pool cleaning, equipment repairs, heaters, pumps, automation, salt systems, inspections, filter cleanings, and HomeWatch services for seasonal residents.
How does billing work?
We bill monthly. Most customers choose auto-pay with a credit card, but we also accept checks, debit cards, and cash.
Do you service pools weekly or bi-weekly?
All residential pools in Southwest Florida require weekly service due to heat, rain, debris, and algae growth. We do not offer bi-weekly service because it leads to inconsistent chemistry and increased equipment strain.
How long should I run my pool pump?
Generally 8–10 hours per day. If you have a variable-speed pump, we can program an efficient schedule for you.
Should the pool pump run during the day or at night?
Daytime is best.
The sun breaks down chlorine, and running the pump during the day keeps the water circulating so the chlorine is constantly mixed and replenished while it’s being used up. This helps keep the pool sanitized and prevents algae growth.
How often should my filter be cleaned?
Every 4–6 weeks. If you have landscaping work or pressure washing done, it’s best to have the filter cleaned shortly after.
Why is my pump loud or making strange noises?
Common causes include:
-
Air leaks
-
A bad pump seal
-
Cracked fittings
-
Low water level
-
A clogged impeller
Turn the pump off immediately and contact us so the issue doesn’t get worse.
Why is my pool cloudy or green?
Usually from:
-
Low chlorine
-
High or low pH
-
A dirty filter
-
Heavy rain or debris
-
Salt cell or pump schedule issues
We can diagnose and correct the problem quickly.
Do you offer repairs and new equipment installations?
Yes — we install and repair pumps, heaters, salt systems, automation, valves, lights, and more. All work follows manufacturer specifications.
Do I need to be home during service?
No, as long as we have access to the pool area.
What happens if I’m out of town?
We continue normal service, notify you of anything important, and can add chlorine or adjust equipment as needed. We also offer HomeWatch if you want full property checks during extended absences.
